Build Process

Step 1. Design

After our initial introduction meeting we will introduce you to one of our designers who will then work with you to create your dream home. An initial Concept Draft is important to get on paper as once this is complete you have a starting point. This is where you get to compile all your ideas, inspiration, likes and dislikes. We will also explore your land, lifestyle and budget & work with you to ensure your plans are designed to suit your requirements. Our designers will ensure your home stays within Budget. Throughout this process you will alter the design until you are happy to proceed to the next step.

Step 2. Specifications

This is where we will finalise any alterations you wish to make from the previous step & complete the Final Construction Plans. This is when we arrange a meeting to go through all specifications so we can begin quoting. You are invited to visit many of our suppliers firsthand to select items such as – Cabinetry, Tapware, Floor Coverings, Tiles, Fireplaces etc. This is important you select what suits your style. We will then complete a fixed build quote giving you confidence that your selections are reflected in the quoted price eliminating any variations through the build. We pride ourselves on being upfront with pricing & being able to pass on considerable discounts due to buying power & our working relationships with all our suppliers.

Step 3. Contract

We will present you with a final fixed Price Quote & Draft contract and explain these in detail. After a signed contract is received & deposit paid we will then submit the plans for Plumbing & Building approval. Prior to the build starting we will arrange a time to go through your final selections of colours and selections.

Step 4. Construction

Upon receipt of the Approved plans we will confirm the start date for your build & schedule everything to begin ASAP. You will be notified of the construction milestones throughout the project and invited to inspect as necessary. Progress claims will be made in conjunction with the Contract at the completion of each stage.

Step 5. Hand over

After we have recorded any minor defects picked up at the practical completion inspection, we will issue the final payment claim. On receiving the final payment claim we will arrange a handover appointment where you will receive your handover pack, keys and most importantly your brand new custom designed home!
